With 17+ years of experience in the real estate industry, 5 years as a Broker/Owner of his own successful firm and 12 years as Principal Broker managing firms and teams of agents, Chris has personally overseen 2000+ successful transactions totaling over $1 billion in sales volume. It is safe to say that there is not a real estate scenario that Chris has not successfully navigated. 

Licensed as a NC Real Estate Broker since 2007 (and holding Principal Broker status since 2010), Chris is also an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS®). Prior to relocating to Asheville in 2013, Chris and his wife Sandy, also a licensed NC Real Estate Broker, owned a highly successful “boutique” real estate firm on North Carolina's Cape Fear Coast, specializing in luxury property sales and acquisition. 

Chris is a true native of the “Tar Heel State,” having called almost every corner of North Carolina home - from the Foothills and the Triangle to the Piedmont and the scenic NC Outer Banks and then coastal Cape Fear area of Southeastern NC. In 2013, he and Sandy, along with their three sons, decided to make Asheville and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains their permanent home.

Chris and his family are avid travelers. You may find them scuba diving and boating in the Caribbean, touring the historic chateaus and wineries of Bordeaux, Burgundy, and the Loire Valley, exploring the streets (and pubs!) of London, or backpacking across one of the many Camino de Santiago routes in France and Spain. Chris also has an extensive background in residential construction and has personally renovated several personal investment properties over the past 30 years. 

Chris holds memberships with the National Association of REALTORS®, NC Association of REALTORS®, and the Land of the Sky Association of REALTORS®. He is also a REALTOR® Online Marketing "Award of Excellence" recipient.

Chris and his family reside in Asheville's historic Kenilworth neighborhood just above Biltmore Village.
