About the presenter: Laura Gourlay is a State Certified General Appraiser holding the MAI, AI-GRS and CDA designations. She has been an appraiser since 2010 after an 18-year career in the banking industry. She currently works for the North Carolina Department of Transportation and has her own firm that provides commercial appraisal services to banks, attorneys, CPA’s, realtors and individuals. She is an Asheville native and a graduate of the University of Georgia. Laura has five children, likes obstacle course racing and spending time doing home and yard improvement projects with her husband Craig.
