John joined Martin & Gifford after founding his own firm and clerking at the NC Court of Appeals. He spent eight years in trial and appellate litigation before transitioning to drafting forms and advising brokers, real estate firms, local REALTOR® boards, and NCAR. Outside work, he enjoys soccer, cycling, reading, and family time. He is also the former mayor of Clemmons, NC.
